The course:
A measured, undulating, rural country road race around the villages to the west of the county town of Bedford.

Course marshals:
The course will be marshalled by Bedford Harriers volunteers vociferously supporting the runners. Marshals move
around the course based on runners pace at no slower than 13.5mins per mile. The sweep vehicle also travels at a
pace of 13.5 minutes per mile and any runners travelling at a pace slower than 13.5mins will be politely requested to
withdraw and transport back to the Race HQ will be provided.
Water stations:
Located at 2.5, 5.5, 8.25 and 11miles
Facilities:
Course maps, toilets, changing, hot showers, hot & cold drinks and snacks, secure baggage storage, and pre & post
race massage will all be available at the race HQ. Baggage storage is at owner's risk.
Toilets:
Ample flushing portable cabins will be situated adjacent to the race HQ. There are also a small number of
toilet cubicles in the changing rooms and in a block on your right as you approach the race HQ.
There are no toilet facilities at the car park or on the course itself.
Race Memento:
This year's race memento is a 100% cotton towel available to all finishers. This race memento will be available for
collection from the Race HQ after the race, not before. You will need your race number to collect your memento.
If you would like an etched wooden medal from a sustainable source as a race memento please order at the time of
your race registration.
